Shared responsibility for the future
In line with the United Nations' global call for shared responsibility for the future, we see viadonau's efforts for positive ecological, social and economic development in an international context. For this reason, we consciously orient ourselves the 17 goals of the United Nations for sustainable development, both in our daily business activities as well as in our diverse project work.
In the United Nations' 2030 Agenda, the 193 member states commit to jointly tackle social, ecological and economic grievances. A central component are the 17 sustainability goals, in which crucial aspects such as poverty, environmental degradation, inequality or corruption are cast in concrete areas of action that range from health and well-being to education and gender equality to clean water and measures to protect the climate. The goals are intended to bring together strategies and action programs from governments, organizations and companies under one roof, thus creating a common awareness of a jointly shaped sustainable future.
