Rehabilitation of the Hößgang ponds
In the area of Hößgang (district Amstetten) are 3 ponds situated on governmental properties. Silt is accumulating which affects the ecological capability and water body, thus excavation activities were necessary. Depths of at least 1.5 m and an ecological renaturation of the ponds were undertaken.
News & Activities
The project started in 2019. First steps were the submission planning, which was accepted in June 2020. Then the procurement process started, the award of contract was granted in October 2020 to Felbermayr Bau GmbH & Co KG. The suction dredging and structuring work was carried out in two construction phases, taking into account the fish spawning season, and was completed in mid-October 2021. The desedimentation cubature totalled 27,155 m³.
