The Flood Service Regulation stipulates all measures to be taken by viadonau during flood operation mode at the flood protection facilities of the Danube Flood Control Agency (DHK) and the facilities of the two water associations at the Morava and lower Thaya. In the course of an evaluation the optimisation possibilities of the flood service were assessed and implemented in an extensive revision of the respective service regulation. The new service regulation was drawn up in 2017 and the working time model during flood events as well as the compensation for on-call duty and actual working hours were regulated by a company agreement of 01.03.2018.  

The project made a substantial contribution to the implementation of measure 20. Optimise flood protection management across organisations and borders of the Action Programme for the Danube 2022.
