Bridge clearance

For the seven bridges on the Austrian Danube, which have a clearance height of less than 8 m at the highest navigable water level (HNWL), an overview of the current clearance heights is available. These clearance heights correspond to the current distance between the lowest point of the lower edge of the bridge in the area of the entire fairway width and are updated every quarter of an hour.

Bridges international

A downloadable list of bridges along the entire navigable Danube, the Borcea sidearm and the port entrances provides an overview of the key data relevant to navigation for each bridge, such as location, clearance heights and widths, reference water level etc.

The clearance heights indicated correspond to the distance between the lowest point of the bridge's lower edge in the area of the entire fairway width and the highest navigable water level (HNWL). The specified clearance widths refer to the width of the fairway at low navigable water level (LNWL).

Berths

A downloadable list of public berths for cargo and passenger vessels in Austria (excluding berths with special functions) lists the key data relevant for navigation for each berth, such as location, length, navigation and additional signs, with of the berthing area, maximum duration of berthing and type of river bank construction.

In addition, an Atlas of Berth of the Austrian Danube is available for download, which also includes berths for special functions.

Navigation-relevant information on the international berths along the Danube is provided by the external website "Danube FIS Portal".

Locks international

An overview provides navigation-relevant information on the locks along the Danube and the Danube-Black Sea Canal, such as the location, dimensions and number of lock chambers and the radio channel of the lock master.
