viadonau is also involved in various operation on land, thereby fulfilling its obligations as Federal Waterways Administration in accordance with § 10 para. 1 of the Waterways Act (WaStG). These activities include:

  • the construction and maintenance of federal ports and federal transhipment or mooring sites,
  • the planning, construction and maintenance of towpaths and
  • the management of property relevant to the waterway
