The Danube Business Talks and the subsequent Danube Business Dating are meeting points for all that are interested in logistics solutions and business relations in the field of inland navigation. The second edition of the Danube Business Talks was held in Linz on the 27th and 28th of June 2016 and addressed market potentials of inland navigation in the construction and recycling sector. Leading experts from the industry and the logistics sector as well as political decision-makers came to Linz in order to jointly discuss innovative logistics solutions and promising markets along the Danube corridor.
viadonau was responsible for the thematic and organisational planning as well as the execution of the Danube Business Talks. The event was supported by the Ports of Enns and Linz and the Economic Chamber of Upper Austria. 150 visitors from 12 countries have attended the Danube Business Talks 2016.
The event made a substantial contribution to the implementation of measure 11. Develop transports on the Danube further of the Action Programme for the Danube 2022.
